Lindsey Davis Stover
Lindsey Davis Stover is a partner with Edwards, Davis Stover & Associates, LLC, a strategic consulting firm. She previously served as senior advisor to U.S. Secretary of Veterans Affairs Eric K. Shinseki for strategic communications, where she led coordination for all internal and external communications efforts. She worked closely with VA leadership to develop overall communication and engagement strategies to include strategic messaging and stakeholder participation. Lindsey also served as VA’s White House liaison and co-chaired the VA Strategic Communications Council. She worked closely with the White House on major policy initiatives such as mental health, disability compensation, caregivers, post 9-11 GI Bill, veterans employment and other special projects.
Prior to serving at VA, Lindsey served as chief of staff to U.S. Congressman Chet Edwards, chairman of the Military Construction and Veterans Affairs Appropriations Subcommittee. Lindsey coordinated the congressional appropriations process and served as staff lead for the work on the Appropriations Sub-Committee on Military Construction and Veterans Affairs. Lindsey graduated from Baylor University with a bachelor of arts in communications and political science and a master’s degree in public policy. She also holds a master’s degree in public administration from the Kennedy School of Government at Harvard University.
