US Family Health Plan is a TRICARE Prime option available to families of active duty military, National Guard, and Reserves, as well as to military retirees and their eligible family members. US Family Health Plan is available in six regions across the United States, with Brighton Marine as headquarters for US Family Health Plan of Southern New England, which currently serves over 15,000 members in Massachusetts, Rhode Island, and portions of Connecticut and New Hampshire.
US Family Health Plan of Southern New England is a TRICARE Prime option funded by the Department of Defense.
Across TRICARE and the entire Military Health System, US family Health Plan is the only program that has achieved national health care reform goals through value-based contracting – aligning payments with managing beneficiary health care, achieving superior health outcomes while reducing cost – all the while keeping patient satisfaction the highest of all military health care programs.
