Brighton Marine, Inc. (BMI), a longstanding leader among America’s non-profits dedicated to supporting healthcare, housing, and basic needs for service members, veterans, and their family members, announced the formation of a 12-member Transformation Committee.

(BUSINESS WIRE) Brighton Marine, Inc., one of the nation’s longstanding non-profits supporting healthcare and housing needs for service members, military retirees and veterans, has been awarded a commercial contract by the Department of Defense to provide comprehensive health care services.

On July 24th our veteran residents launched from the Boston harbor to catch some striped bass. This annual Fishing Academy fishing trip provides a peaceful setting to share experiences and bond.

November was National Veterans and Military Families Month, and Brighton Marine was able to give support to our valued veterans and military families in many ways.

As we closed out Veterans Month, BMI was proud to acknowledge and thank Veterans for their service during National Veterans and Military Families Month by highlighting the recipients of Allston-Brighton Community Fund donations, a partnership between BMI and Clear Channel Outdoor.

October and November always have special meaning for Brighton Marine VeteransHousing resident Reen Littlebrook. October 9 is Indigenous Peoples’ Day and November 11 isVeterans Day but Reen isn’t one to call a lot of attention to either his military time or his ethnicity.

Creating and strengthening connections in our Veterans community is at the heart of what Brighton Marine does. We accomplished this again on a beautiful summer day in August as Veterans, families, supporters and our BMI team joined together for our fourth annual Summer Cookout.

The PACT Act was established in August 2022 to extend access to health care and benefits for Veterans exposed to burn pits, Agent Orange and other toxic substances.
