Lee Becker
Lee Becker is the Senior Vice President and Executive Advisor for Public Sector and Healthcare at Medallia, where he has a history of improving the customer experience for veterans, families, caregivers, and survivors. He previously held management roles at the Board of Veterans’ Appeals, the Navy’s Bureau of Medicine and Surgery, and the Marine Corps Wounded Warrior Regiment Medical Division, where he developed wounded warrior programs to help the transition of all wounded, ill, and injured Marines and their family members.
Deborah Bradbard
Deborah Bradbard is the Director at the Boeing Center for Veteran Transition and Military Families at Virginia Tech Innovation Campus, where she combines strategic leadership with a deep commitment to bettering the lives of service members, veterans, and their families. Previously, she served as Senior Research Associate at the D’Aniello Institute for Veterans and Military Families and as the Director of Research and Policy at Blue Star Families. She is also a primary author of the 2013 and 2014 Blue Star Families Annual Lifestyle Survey, which has been cited by the White House, members of Congress, CNN, the Center for Deployment Psychology, and the Defense Center of Excellence (DCoE).
Melissa Bryant
Melissa A. Bryant is a champion of women and minority veteran rights and currently serves as the Chair of the Board of Directors for the Minority Veterans of America. Previously, she served as the Senior Advisor for strategic engagement to the Secretary of Veteran’s Affairs, where she focused on the development, adoption, and implementation of department-wide programs and policies affecting VA operations. As a former Army Captain and Operation Iraqi Freedom combat veteran, her extensive record of public service earned her honors including the Joint Civilian Service Commendation Medal, the Meritorious Service Medal, and the Joint Service Commendation Medal.
Diana Dass
Diana Dass is the Executive Director of the US Family Health Plan at Pacific Medical Centers (PacMed) as of January of 2024. Diana joined PacMed in 2018 as the Quality Improvement Manager and later advanced to the role of Director of Population Health & Quality in 2020. In 2021, her role expanded to also oversee Value Based Care and Population Health for Providence Northwest medical group in Puget Sound. Diana has proven highly flexible and proficient in times of change. With a strong background in healthcare, Diana began her career in 2012, working for the Northwest health plans covering Oregon and Washington markets. Throughout her career, Diana has been dedicated to enhancing healthcare delivery and improving health outcomes across various populations.
Lynda Davis
Dr. Lynda Davis is a renowned veterans advocate who has spent her career fighting for the rights of veterans and served as the Senior Advisor for the Tragedy Assistance Program for Survivors (TAPS). She is also the Founder and Executive Director of the Military and Veteran Caregiver Network and Chief Executive Officer of a service-disabled, veteran-owned small business specializing in education, training, and health and human services.
Steve Holmes
Steve Holmes brings 25 years of experience building strong brands for global leaders like UPS and The Home Depot. As vice president of corporate communication and external affairs for The Home Depot and president of The Home Depot Foundation, he was focused on the company’s non-profit veteran housing program.
Steve Maddox
Steve Maddox is the current Interim CEO of the US Family Health Plan and Managing Director at M3 Partners. He is a seasoned transformation advisor and healthcare executive. He previously held executive leadership roles at both Envision Healthcare and Deloitte Consulting after serving as a Marine officer deployed in support of OIF (Operation Iraqi Freedom), OEF (Operation Enduring Freedom) and the Global War on Terror.
Ryan O'Donnell
Ryan O’Donnell is Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer at Johns Hopkins Health Plans chartered with providing access to high-quality, cost-effective healthcare and improving the well-being of its members and communities. His vast leadership experience includes strategy, operations, IT and market-facing roles across multiple aspects of the healthcare industry with previous leadership positions at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, Henry Ford Health System, and CGI Inc. Healthcare Solutions Group.
Tim Puglielli
Tim Puglielli is the Chief Operating Officer for the Panther Group, a full-service staffing firm that uses talent intelligence to collect, analyze, and leverage data to make informed decisions about talent management. With more than 24 years of experience, Mr. Puglielli has a proven history of attracting and delivering the right talent to make companies successful.
Jeffrey Smagula
Jeffrey Smagula is the General Counsel & Chief Legal Officer at Martin’s Point Health Care and has more than 23 years of experience providing legal and compliance advice in the healthcare sector. As a graduate of Harvard University and Georgetown University Law Center, Jeffrey previously held counsel roles at Verrill Dana, LLP and Tufts Health Plan, where he led efforts to identify and mitigate legal and compliance risk for the non-profit insurer.
Melissa Teves
Melissa Teves is the Vice President for the Johns Hopkins US Family Health Plan, a TRICARE Prime® option available to eligible military beneficiaries, recognized by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) as one of the highest-rated plans in the nation. Ms. Teves possesses deep expertise in military healthcare, contract administration, and strategy along with strong relationships with the Department of Defense and the Defense Health Agency.
Darryl Vincent
Darryl J. Vincent, a Marine veteran and nationally recognized leader in innovating service delivery for veterans, is President and Chief Operating Officer of U.S.VETS, the nation’s largest nonprofit service provider dedicated to preventing and ending veteran homelessness. He leads with his heart, implementing policies that ensure veterans stand on their own, always supported with the services they need, from substance use and mental health counseling to aging in place and expanding outreach to women veterans. Vincent was appointed to the Veterans Affairs Advisory Council on Homeless Veterans and was a member of the leadership team accepting the Congressional Medal of Honor Society’s Community Service Award. He succeeds CEO Stephen J. Peck on Jan. 1, 2025.
